Is there such a thing as middle school sweethearts? Hayley and Alex might not exactly be considered those, but their story is endearing and sweet enough. Ever since they would shoot hoops together on the basketball court in 7th grade, Hayley and Alex were great friends. The two kept in touch during high school and college until, finally, one day they become more than just friends. Hayley and Alex were always attracted to each other’s personalities and got along very well – it just took a couple years for the spark between them to ignite.
The two had been together 5 years when Alex knew it was time to propose. He decided to make a seemingly ordinary Monday date night extraordinary and took Hayley to the restaurant Sixteen in the Trump Tower. The nearly empty restaurant made for the perfect moment and Alex asked the question that would soon become the best moment of Hayley’s life. The two were so overjoyed to share the exciting news that they could barely finish their meals!

The wedding reception was held at the Art Institute of Chicago which offered many picturesque locations that created stunning photos for Hayley and Alex and their wedding party. This venue was the final and favorite location the two visited when they were searching for the right one. They loved the very modern, all white decor with beautiful floor to ceiling windows – it was just what they were looking for!
H Photography was able to capture the couple outside on the city streets, with the beautiful city backdrop. The urban landscape created stunning photo shoots against the evening’s night sky.
Hayley and Alex’s wedding was more than they could have ever imagined. It was simply a perfect evening with family and close friends together celebrating their special day with great food, music, and fabulous decor.
The wedding took place on February 6th of this year, which was their 6-year anniversary.
